  Copyright Information

    The text contents of these archives were first published by and are © Meeting 64/128 Users Through the Mail, unless noted otherwise in individual articles. Articles from The Commodore MaiLink may be reprinted in paper or disk format with the permission of Meeting 64/128 Users Through the Mail if proper credit is given. Permission to republish artucles on the internet must be granted by either Tom Adams or Jean Nance. Any and all opinions expressed in these texts are the views of the individual authors and in no way reflect the viewpoints, attitudes or policies of Meeting 64/128 Users Through the Mail unless so stated or indicated.

    Important! Read these abbreviated instructions carefully or download the full-blown help file in Commodore PETASCII or Windows WordPad format!

    All downloadable files in our disk libraries are in ZIP 2.04G format!  This was done to conserve space on the server and to make the files downloadable to a 1541 drive.

    If you are downloading from this website directly to a Commodore computer, you will also need to download UNZIP64V214 for the C-64; or UNZIP128V214 for the C-128. Both are available on this site, as are the instructions in PETASCII format.

    Both of these programs were written by Errol Smith (AKA Strobe); you can visit his Web Site at http://www.ros.com.au/~errol/64.html for the latest updates to these teriffic programs.

    If you are downloading from this site to another platform for later transfer to your Commodore computer, you either already know what you need to unzip these files or you've already got it installed.

    Once you have downloaded the zipped files, you'll need a way to identify them. The filenames are all coded as follows: MLYY-MMS.ZIP where:

    ML = MaiLink : YY- = Year : MM = Month : S = Side 1 or 2 for a double-sided disk

    So a file named ml90-031.zip would be the disk from March of 1990, side 1.

    The MaiLink disk archives for 1999 will be available soon, so check back!
